Why 3 Scoops?

Some time last year my mum dug up an old photo of me proudly holding three cones with one scoop of ice cream each. I assume I was holding them for other people. After all, I don’t even really like vanilla (chocolate is the best, always, closely followed by strawberry).

Me, sometime in the very early 90s, sporting a cool jacket and no less than three ice creams!

With this photo the long held plan to put a website together that could function a portfolio, I found that the concept of three scoops of ice cream could relate to the three passions I have:

wayfinding

cartography

design

Thus, I quickly reserved the domain and a few months later built this website (using Squarespace).

P.S. I still love ice cream, still not a fan of vanilla though.
